Gevrey Chambertin has 26 Premiers Crus “Climats”, half of which are located to the south and the other half to the north, on fairly rich limestone and clay soils.
Tasting : Our Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru has a beautiful colour, an expressive nose with notes of black fruit liqueur such as blackcurrant or blueberry, accompanied by toasted and smoky notes. The palate is firm with thickness and a very good structure, it is a toasted wine, with black fruit and ripe tannins. A full-bodied wine with a salivating finish. Definitely a great terroir.
