The Whistler Imperial Stout Cask Finish (Batch 002)

Freshly disgorged Single Malt casks were filled with the award winning O’Haras Imperial Stout, imparting the stouts wonderful rich flavours into the wood. We then refill these seasoned casks with our blend of Irish Malt, Wheat, and Grain whiskeys which bestow deeper notes of roasted coffee and cacao nibs.

NOSE

Dark berries mixed with a hint of bitter coffee and creamy cocoa.

PALATE

The creaminess from the cocoa follows through, pairing beautifully with the subtle coffee tones. This is rounded out by hints of caramel.

FINISH

Long, lingering with a creamy mouthfeel.
